Halloween is almost here! Now is the time to stock up on ghoulish goodies and decorations. Make food allergy life less complicated for yourself and non-food allergy individuals by sharing these peanut-free candy finds, spooky food alternatives for trick-or-treaters and some bewitching Halloween decorations – all from The Dollar Tree!
Just like Christmas and Thanksgiving, Halloween can be a stressful time for the food allergy parent. You’re making sure your food allergy child is safe trick-or-treating, while also hoping they recognize which candy items are a no-no. The task is put on the parent to comb through candy and remove subsequent food allergy items (or try the Switch Witch), along with educating the community at large about the Teal Pumpkin Project.
On a recent trip to The Dollar Tree, I decided to load up on non-food items to giveaway to trick-or-treaters. I stumbled on several great peanut-free options, along with some bewitching home decor. This year, you can bet I’ll have a rockin Halloween party – all focused on being peanut-free and food allergy friendly!
What is Halloween without some form of candy? Don’t let your food allergic child feel left out – The Dollar Tree has options for us!

All opinions are my own. I have not been paid for any product, business or organization endorsements. When it comes to food packaging and ingredients, I am a label reader. I did not call any companies listed on this particular post, therefore, I just read the label for any allergy warnings.
